She thinks she has age on her side She says she is not ready She thinks she has to first conquer the world Little does she know that A lifetime is too short for love

When it comes to football, With a little warm-up training, I can become like Lionel Messi When it comes to f1 racing, With a little driving practice, I can become like Fernando Alonso When it comes to music, With a little vocal lesson, I can become like Josh Groban When it comes to preaching, With a little help from above, I can become like Billy Graham When it comes to acting, With a little encouragement from the director, I can become like Morgan Freeman But When it comes to love, With all the help in the universe, I will still be me ( finally, a love poem, after several years :)

   Love is a pain that you can enjoy  It can totally drive you crazy  It is a medicine that can make you sick  It can eat you up inside It is stubborn and does not listen to logic  Love sees only love and is blind to everything else  It is a volcano, a tsunami, it is unstoppable  It is like a thirsty desert that is never satisfied  Love is everything, somtimes meaningless  In the end, you don't care if it is love or something else you are talking about

For a thousand years We've been singing about love  If it were on another theme  Would have we endured?  Much less, enjoyed?  --x--x--  Why does the heart hurt  When we are unloved?  Why can't we just ignore it And move on?  What's there in being loved?  --xx--  It's a sad thing That lost loves become branded as Infatuations  When it was love after all!

I barely know you You barely know me We aren’t properly introduced But I want to know you And let you know me Heaven only knows what’ll happen I need all the help God, Send legions of angels Provide the right circumstances Let all universe stand still For this love must happen God, Let this love happen

I loved a girl from whose memory I kept slipping  How forgettable was I  ----x----  Help me to remind myself that you are gone  Help me to give up hope of ever having you  Help me to live with it  That you are not in love with me  Teach my heart to understand the situation  Teach my heart to stop believing in dreams  Teach me to live with it  That you are not in love with me  Show me no signal of false hope  Show me convincingly that you are done with me  ....................................... ..........................................
